Day 1 : Yangon

yangon-02Welcome by Vacation Myanmar Travels & Tours’ Guide at the International Airport. Transfer to Hotel. After Check- in to the hotel, begin a full day sightseeing of the city of Yangon. Sightseeing Tour includes downtown area (Sule Pagoda, Yangon city Hall), St. Mary’s Catholic Church, National Museum and its famous Lion Throne, Shwedagon Pagoda (the largest building in the whole world which is covered with gold), Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda (72 meters long Buddha status), Bogyoke Aung San Market (Major tourist Market in city), Karaweik Hall (the Mythological water bird royal floating barge). Overnight in Yangon.


Day 2 : Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo

Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock): One of the wonders of the world, the 5.5 meters high shrine is built on a gold-plated boulder delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Arrive to the Kin Pun base camp of Kyaikhtiyo after 4 hours drive from Yangon. Visitors will be transferred into open trucks for a spectacular ride up the Hermit Hill Base Camp from which visitors trek uphill for about 30 minutes. (Porters and palanquins are available to carry luggage and visitors who are weak to climb up the hill). Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo.


Day 3 : Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Yangon

bago-01After Breakfast, drive back 110km to Bago. Sightseeing in Bago include Shwethalyaung 55m long reclining Buddha, the Mon style Shwemawdaw Pagoda, and also visit to the old palace “Kamboza Thadi”. On the way back to Yangon, visit the Allied War Cemetery near Htaukkyan, the final resting place for over 27000 allied soldiers. Overnight in Yangon.




Day 4 : Yangon-Departure

yangon-03Breakfast in the hotel. The guide and the car will be remained at the client’s disposal for further sightseeing or shopping till the international flight departure.
